Solutions · Odoo

Run your whole business on one system. Odoo, implemented right.

Odoo puts finance, sales, operations, field work and people on a single database. DHX makes it fit the way your company actually runs — mapped, configured, migrated, trained and supported.

Your systems don’t talk. Your business pays for it.

Estimating lives in one tool. Job costing lives in another. Purchasing, payroll and field reports live wherever they landed. Every handoff becomes a re-key, every report becomes a reconciliation, and the number you need to make a decision arrives a week after you needed it.

Odoo replaces that sprawl with one database and a connected set of apps. DHX is the difference between software you own and software that works. We map your processes before we install anything, configure before we customize, migrate your history cleanly, train the people who have to live in it, and stay on after go-live.

What changes
  • One record carries a job from quote to cash
  • Project and job costing update as work happens
  • Field data reaches the office the same day
  • Approvals and audit trails sit inside the workflow
  • Reporting stops starting in a spreadsheet

Why companies choose Odoo

It is not the cheapest software on the list. It is the one that stops your business from being run out of exports.

One database, end to end

A quotation becomes a project, the project consumes inventory, and time and materials land on the invoice — without exporting anything.

80+ integrated apps

Start with the two or three you need. Add manufacturing, field service or eCommerce later and they inherit your data on day one.

Open source foundation

The platform is extensible by design. Studio handles the light work, custom modules and APIs handle the rest. No black box, no forced roadmap.

Licensing that scales with you

Priced per user rather than per module, with cloud or self-hosted deployment, so the footprint matches the budget and the compliance requirement.

What we do: Odoo, end to end

Five disciplines. You can enter at any one of them — most companies start at the first, and the ones in trouble start at the third.

01Business Flow Mapping

Before a single app is switched on, we document how your business actually runs — not how the org chart says it does.

  • Discovery sessions with the people doing the work
  • Current-state maps: order to cash, procure to pay, job to invoice
  • Future-state design expressed in Odoo objects and flows
  • App and edition selection: Community or Enterprise, cloud or self-hosted
  • Fit-gap analysis: what configures, what customizes, what stays outside
  • Phased roadmap with sequencing, effort and dependencies

You get: process maps, a fit-gap register and an implementation plan you could hand to any partner.

02Implementation

A production system, on schedule, with your data in it and your team able to use it.

  • Environment provisioning, multi-company and multi-currency setup
  • Chart of accounts, taxes, fiscal positions and opening balances
  • Data migration from NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage, Dynamics or spreadsheets
  • Integrations: banking, payroll, payments and POS, eCommerce, EDI
  • Conference room pilots and acceptance testing on real scenarios
  • Cutover plan, parallel period and go-live support on site

You get: a live system your team trusts, with reconciled data and a documented cutover.

03Configuration & Customization

Configure first. Customize only where the business case is real — every line of custom code is something you maintain forever.

  • App configuration, user roles and record-level access rules
  • Automation rules, server actions, approval chains, scheduled activities
  • Custom fields, views and workflows built in Odoo Studio
  • Custom modules in Python and OWL when configuration runs out
  • Branded quotes, invoices, work orders and document templates
  • REST and XML-RPC integrations to the systems you are keeping

You get: Odoo shaped to your workflow, with a customization footprint small enough to upgrade.

04Training & Adoption

Implementations rarely fail on software. They fail when the crew goes back to the spreadsheet in week three.

  • Role-based sessions for office, field, finance and leadership
  • Written SOPs and quick-reference guides tied to your configuration
  • Administrator enablement so your team owns day-two changes
  • Train-the-trainer for multi-location, seasonal and rotating crews
  • Courses published in Odoo eLearning so new hires onboard themselves
  • Adoption checkpoints at 30, 60 and 90 days after go-live

You get: documented procedures, trained superusers and an internal owner who is not guessing.

05Ongoing Support

Go-live is the start of the engagement, not the end of it. Your business will change; the system has to keep up.

You get: a partner who knows your build, on call, with the history in hand.

  • Tiered support with defined response targets
  • Annual version upgrades, custom modules included
  • An enhancement backlog you prioritize
  • Health checks, performance tuning, database hygiene
  • New reports and dashboards as the questions change
  • Quarterly reviews against the original roadmap

Configured for how you operate

Construction & Trades

Job costing by phase and cost code, subcontractor and purchase order control, change orders, field service dispatch, equipment and fleet, progress billing and retention.

Manufacturing

Bills of material and routings, work orders on the floor, quality checks in the flow, MRP scheduling and product lifecycle management on one record.

Retail & eCommerce

Point of sale consolidated across locations, one inventory behind the counter and the storefront, and payment processing that reconciles itself.

Financial Services

Approval chains, segregation of duties, document control and audit trails that hold up when someone asks how a number was produced.

Healthcare

Supply and asset tracking, vendor management, credentialing records and back-office finance, deployed with access control taken seriously.

Mining

Heavy equipment maintenance, parts inventory across remote sites, contractor management and cost capture against each operation.

Coming off NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage or a stack of spreadsheets?

Migrations fail on data, not software. We extract, profile and cleanse before anything is loaded, map legacy records to Odoo objects with a documented crosswalk, validate against your trial balance and open transactions, and run a parallel period so you can prove the numbers before you switch the business over.

If an implementation is already in trouble — half-configured, over-customized or abandoned by the last partner — we start with an assessment and a written recovery plan before we quote a dollar of work.

  1. 01Data crosswalk documented
  2. 02Balances reconciled line by line
  3. 03Parallel period run before cutover
  4. 04Rollback plan on the shelf

Why teams pick DHX for Odoo

Business first, software second

More than a decade of process consulting behind every configuration decision. We ask why the step exists before we automate it.

Real engineers on staff

When configuration runs out, we build the module — and build it so the next version upgrade does not break it.

We configure before we customize

Less custom code means cheaper upgrades, fewer surprises and a system you are not locked out of improving.

Local and accountable

Phoenix based. On your floor when that is what the work needs, on the phone when it is not. Same people from mapping through support.

Questions we get every week

How long does an Odoo implementation take?

Most mid-sized implementations run three to six months from mapping to go-live. Data quality and integration count drive that range far more than headcount does. A phased rollout can put one department live in weeks.

Community or Enterprise?

Community is open source and free to run. Enterprise adds full accounting, Studio, mobile and Odoo’s own support. We size that decision against the apps you will actually use, not against a feature comparison chart.

Do we have to move everything at once?

No. Most clients phase it: finance and sales first, then operations, then the rest. Because Odoo shares one database, apps added later inherit the data that is already there.
